Over our 40 years, we have seen thousands of families come to find safety and freedom from domestic violence and other forms of abuse. Each had their own story, but they all started by taking the first step – speaking up and breaking the silence by reaching out for help.

With so many who have worked hard to break free from victimization, we wanted to share some notes we’ve received over the years.

Take a minute to read these families breaking the silence and changing their lives (and check out some fun photos of Christmas mornings from years past)!

“Making the call and being here has been the best thing and so educational. I wish I had been educated with this material before I got married and had a child… This class info should be part of school curriculum.” – J, 2014

“I first made a call about 2 years ago to come. It’s years later, but I finally came in. I’m learning and I plan on continue doing this work daily. I see big changes in my kids’ lives…we hear each other now for the first time.”
– K, 2016

“The program has given me the knowledge to better my life. To see the things i need to do to improve my situation. Ms. DellaCorte is amazing. She has give me insight into my problems. I feel enlightened.” – M, 2019
