Updates for our Prescott Thrift Store Consolidation:
Our thrift consolidation is approaching, and as an update, the final day our Prescott Stepping Stones Thrift Store will be open is Saturday, October 30, 2021. Until then, the Prescott store will be having awesome sales throughout the month of October for you to find great treasures – starting with 25% off Oct 5 – 9 (again – these sales are good ONLY at our Prescott store!). Stay tuned for more sale information throughout the month.
The last day to drop off donations at our Prescott thrift location is Saturday, October 16, 2021. No donations will be accepted at this location after 10/16.
After 10/30, all shopping and donation drop-offs will ONLY be at our Prescott Valley location at 2651 N. Industrial Way (off Highway 69 and Mendecino Drive).

Stepping Stones is ever conscious of being good stewards of our resources and the resources in the community as we provide 24/7/365 advocacy services for local families throughout West Yavapai County.
In 2019, we completed Phase 1 of our consolidation plan and merged our two Prescott Valley thrift stores into one location on Industrial Way. In 2020, we completed Phase 2 by consolidating our admin offices, 12-step services, and advocacy services also into our Industrial Way location.
Now, we will be consolidating and moving our Prescott thrift store into our Prescott Valley thrift location on Industrial Way. We plan to keep our Prescott store open through Saturday, October 30, 2021 (updated closing date). You’ll be able to shop and donate at our Prescott Valley store without any delays.
We have exciting ideas in the works for the Prescott community, AND we’re working on an expanded pick-up and delivery schedule, so stay tuned to our monthly newsletter and social media to stay up-to-date on what’s coming. The PV store is already so crowded it’s difficult to get around, let alone find a shopping cart. I’ve loved the abundance of stuff and good prices. Why not open another one in PV instead of making the current one impossible to navigate? I’d shop at both.

Where will drop-offs be in Prescott?
Hi Ellen – At this time, we do not have a donation drop-off location in Prescott. All donations can be dropped off Tues – Sat 9 am – 4 pm at our store in Prescott Valley located at 2651 N. Industrial Way. Our team is happy to pick up large household items and furniture in Prescott by calling to schedule a pick up at 928-759-0225. If you have additional questions, please let us know!
