Taking steps out of abuse and into happy, independent lives can be challenging but is possible! Families who work with Stepping Stones Advocates are able to get connected to a variety of support and resources that help them do the hard work it takes to live free from abuse. Adults complete an anonymous survey upon exit to provide feedback. From April 1 – June 30, 2023, those who participated shared:
- 100% reported they are (re)gaining control of their lives.
- 100% reported their safety has improved, even after leaving Stepping Stones.
- 100% reported they know how to plan for their continued safety.
- 100% reported they are confident they will remain free from abuse, even after leaving Stepping Stones.
