When adults exit Stepping Stones advocacy services, they take an anonymous survey about their time in our supportive services. Adults who exited between January 1 – June 30, 2022 shared these comments on their surveys:

“I learned a lot about domestic violence, how to avoid it, how to take care of myself and rely on myself over others. Stepping Stones helped me find my tribe of Alanons and CODAs.”

“My overall stay was amazing. I learned a lot here with all of the support and there was no judgement.”

“My abuser no longer continues to influence me. I don’t feel afraid for my life or wellbeing anymore and I’m happier away from the chaos.”

“I learned about all forms of domestic violence and how to avoid them. I got stronger and found ‘me’ again.”

“I love the family environment and the educational blocks. We never stop learning. We are given the tools to succeed.”
