Businesses volunteer with Stepping Stones to give back and help make a difference in the community.

We strive each day at Stepping Stones to show our amazing volunteers how much we value and appreciate them! Why? Because Stepping Stones would not be here without every single one of them! “It is so amazing knowing they take time out of their own lives to give back and help make an impact in our community!” said one of our supervisors at our Clothing Outlet. Because our community is so generous with donations, volunteers provide “the needed extra help that makes a huge difference.”

Volunteers help make each of our locations run smoothly. They work hard while having fun processing donations, answering helpline calls, or working an event in the community. But, the mission of Stepping Stones’ work is central to all they do: “What’s even better is knowing the amount of families we support through our hard work.” We believe that we have the best volunteers around because each volunteer forms a direct connection with our mission. Not only do they learn about the services we provide, but they meet first-hand someone who has received services from our advocacy programs. A current volunteer at our Red Barn Thrift Store said, “Physically meeting and working alongside a mother who has entered and graduated our program makes me work even harder. I feel honored knowing my work helps her out, as well as any other person who needs our support.”

Stepping Stones Volunteers at event

Stepping Stones Volunteer superheroes volunteer at community events to help spread the word for families who may be in need of our 24/7/365 domestic violence advocacy services.

Thanks to our valuable volunteers, giving back is now simpler than ever. When you choose to join our team, we set you up with a host who is a fellow volunteer serving alongside you! We cannot thank each of our volunteers enough for being part of Stepping Stones and choosing to support local families!
