In Stepping Stones’ safe shelter and advocacy programs, participants learn about how they can “be better” with hard work and commitment. Upon completion of their services, they are asked to take an anonymous survey to provide feedback. In the first half of 2018, those who participated shared:

  • 100% reported they are achieving their goals.
  • 100% reported they feel they are regaining control in their life.
  • 98% reported they are confident they will be free from abuse when they leave.
  • 100% reported they know how to plan for their continued safety.
