Jessica grew up in the foster care system after her family was torn apart by domestic violence. Her dad went to jail and her mother began abusing drugs to cope with her trauma. Jessica struggled as a teenager, but with the help of counseling, she graduated high school and got a scholarship to attend cosmetology school.

Ten years later, Jessica is a thriving hair stylist with a husband and two little girls of her own. She and her husband decided to include a gift in their will to Stepping Stones in order to give a chance to the moms who are choosing hope and healing over drugs.

You can provide safety, healing, and hope to local families experiencing violence in our West Yavapai County communities by including Stepping Stones in your will or estate plan.
