Kathy has been a part of Stepping Stones for 21 years – first as a resident living in safe shelter, then as a volunteer to help give back to others, and now serving as an advocate. Kathy is an awesome advocate because of her own personal experiences with domestic violence and substance abuse/addiction. She has unwavering belief in the power that change is possible and the potential people hold when they are ready to start the hard work. She loves to see “the light come on” for someone – awareness, confidence, and resiliency build as people grow! Kathy is constantly inspired by survivors who are working their own recovery journey.
