Gratitude is Giving Back – Three Ways to Get Involved

1. Holiday Support for Families at Stepping Stones’ Shelter

Families at Stepping Stones are able to celebrate the holidays in safety, sometimes for the very first time. Because of our community’s amazing generosity, children and adults alike are able to wake up Christmas morning with gifts and meals in a safe environment. If you would like to help be Santa this year for the holidays, one of the easiest ways to help is through gift cards for Walmart, grocery stores, or other similar stores. These are a great way to help families create the holiday season they want to experience by allowing parents to shop for their kids and pick out special items to celebrate together.

2. Give Back When You Shop at Fry’s

Grocery shop with purpose! You can choose to support Stepping Stones with each purchase made at Fry’s Food Stores through their Community Rewards program. It’s easy to sign up!

3. Make A Difference with a Tax Credit Donation

Did you know that you can donate to Stepping Stones and get a tax credit on your Arizona state taxes? Arizona offers a dollar-for-dollar tax credit on your AZ state return by making a monetary donation to a qualified charitable organization of any amount (NEW for 2025 – give up to $495 filing single or $987 filing joint). When you claim the credit using Arizona form 321, you will reduce your tax liability or increase the amount you receive in a refund.
