Starting a new life after violence and abuse is challenging all on its own, but not being able to find an affordable place to live adds more stress.
We knew Stepping Stones could help ease that stress with our transitional housing options.
At the end of 2023, we were able to increase our total number of transitional housing units to 9 two-bedroom two-bathroom units! This allows for up to 18 families (depending on size of family and specific needs) from our safe emergency shelter to continue living with us for up to two years while they work hard to get back on their feet, gain a rental history, and get more support from our advocates.
Thank you for your support for the families we serve. Thanks to you, we are able to continue our mission to ensure families who are experiencing violence and abuse have a safe place to heal and the support they need to move forward toward a life free from abuse.
