At Stepping Stones, supportive fellowship, connections to resources, and supportive one-on-one support all play a role in helping adults find freedom from abuse. Adults complete an anonymous survey upon exit to provide feedback. From October 1 through December 21, 2023, they reported:
- 100% reported they are (re)gaining control of their lives.
- 100% reported they felt safe and believed at shelter.
- 100% reported they feel secure with their connections to local resources and know how to access them.
- 100% reported they felt confident they would be free from abuse even after leaving Stepping Stones.
