Imagine moving into a strange place with your mom and wondering if Santa is going to find you this year. But when you come out of your bedroom on Christmas morning, you see gifts under the tree with your name on them. Joy and excitement fills the room because you were remembered.
The holidays can be a difficult time to be living in shelter, away from typical traditions and comforts. Sometimes the holidays are full of negative and stressful memories. But, no matter what, families are remembered each holiday season at Stepping Stones because of our awesome community.
If you would like to get involved this holiday season and support families in their journey to freedom from abuse, we have some ideas for you! Gift cards for Walmart, grocery stores, or other similar stores are a great way to help families create the holiday season they want to experience. These gift cards allow parents to shop for their kids and pick out special items to celebrate together.
