New beginnings are exciting and often scary – especially when you’re leaving behind all the things you are familiar with and having to start over. Adults who come to Stepping Stones take the brave and courageous steps to start their new beginning, free from all forms of abuse and victimization. It isn’t easy, but they are able to make lasting change with hard work! Adults complete an anonymous survey upon exit to provide feedback. From January 1, 2022 – September 30, 2022, those who participated shared:
- 100% reported they are (re)gaining control of their lives
- 97% reported they are completing their goals.
- 98% reported their safety has improved, even after leaving Stepping Stones.
- 98% reported they know how to plan for their continued safety.
