This year, the holiday season at our shelter is another chance for families to celebrate the season in safety. When they have been living in fear and chaos for years, it can be tough to try to relax and just enjoy – sometimes for the first time!
If you want to get involved and support families in their journey to freedom with your holiday giving, we have some ideas for you! To help families create the holiday season they want to experience, you can give gift card donations between $5-20 from local grocery stores and super stores like Walmart, and specialty stores like Ulta. Gift cards allow parents to pick out gifts that are a perfect fit for their children and create the holiday season on their terms.
