Advocates are always available on our 24/7/365 Helpline for anyone who needs to speak up and find freedom from violence. From January 1 – September 31, 2018, our LIVE helpline received:
- 1,501 total calls by our specially trained advocates.
- 576 calls for emergency crisis response to domestic violence or other types of victimization.
- 342 calls from adults and children who were local individuals looking for shelter due to intimate violence or homelessness.
- 234 calls from adults who wanted information about educational classes, face-to-face, and group advocacy services, even though they did not need shelter.
