For Stepping Stones families, potential is discovered in a safe, supportive environment that allows Shelter Group education photothem the time, space, and resources to turn those unrealized abilities into reality.

Whether it is understanding trauma, building healthy boundaries, or creating a resume, women living in the shelter or receiving 24/7/365 advocacy services spend each day working towards their potential. Together with our advocates, the courageous women and children work hard to overcome barriers and empower themselves to take that next step no matter how challenging or scary it may be.

Healing and recovery from trauma is rarely a straight line, and each day requires encouragement and support from others. We believe in the power of taking steps forward, regardless how small, in order to reach the potential inside every family!
