Your contribution will support 24/7/365 Helpline, safe housing, and services for victims of family violence, all while protecting our environment from unwanted waste.
Every cartridge and cell phone we recycle generates direct support for the services and programs we provide. Select cell phones are kept to be used as 9-1-1 emergency phones for the women in our program. Others are sent, at no cost to us, to a recycling center. In all instances, data is removed from cell phones and they are wiped clean.
All three of our thrift stores, as well as the Step One Coffee House, hold collection bins where you can drop-off your cell phones and ink cartridges. And if you let a store representative know while you’re there, we can even issue you a tax receipt for the product(s).
Companies that generate large volumes of ink cartridges can
contact Alva at 928.772.4184 for a pick-up service.
