Next Chapter Recovery Bookstore coming soon

At Stepping Stones, we know the power of “one day at a time.” Healing from abuse and victimization doesn’t happen overnight. It takes hard work to break through victimization and move into a place of empowerment.

Many who come to Stepping Stones don’t necessarily need safe shelter, but they are taking the “one day at a time” approach to work through the crisis and trauma they have experienced. Because of this need, we are opening a new Advocacy Center in Prescott!

The new Next Chapter Recovery Bookstore and Advocacy Center is a space for anyone who is seeking support to have a safe place to meet with an advocate for safety planning, lethality assessments, legal advocacy, or even just to debrief. Advocates will be available at Next Chapter Recovery Bookstore by appointment through our 24/7 Helpline. Additionally, Next Chapter will hold weekly educational support groups on topics including dynamics of intimate partner violence, childhood trauma, codependency, family history, and more.

Additionally, Next Chapter Recovery Bookstore will be home to recovery and support group books and gifts including AA, NA, Al-Anon, and other support group books, medallions, cards, gifts, and more. Inspirational gift items for employees or friends will also be available for purchase. The bookstore will be open beginning mid-February, initially Wednesday – Saturday 9 am – 2 pm. For more information, please call our Administration office 928-772-4184. For advocacy and resources, call our 24/7 Helpline: 445.HOPE.
